THE ARTIST

Hola! I'm Ana Cristina- my family and friends call me Cristy. I was born and raised in a city in northern Mexico.

I have a bachelor's in Psychology, and I've worked in diverse fields besides Mental Health, like hospitality and tourism, teaching and childcare, fashion, photography, home construction and decor.

In 2014 I moved to United States to work for an American company in Maryland. 
After living in Washington DC, Philadelphia and New Jersey, I finally established my permanent home in New York State since 2016.

During the time I worked as a Media Editor and Photographer for a local boutique in New York, I had the opportunity to explore and expand my creative skills- this was an important upgrade for my craft.

I've participated as a member of the Cornwall Art Collective in local shows collaborating with other talented artists in different locations in the Hudson Valley.

I've performed numerous street exhibitions and sales for the urban movement Moreleando in my hometown Torreon, Coahuila.

I have a wide variety of pieces that fluctuate between the absence of color and the explosion of it. My artwork is strongly influenced by femininity and nature, and I enjoy using different techniques and media to emphasize detail and color in my work.
